Fig. A8 peptide reduces MMP-1 increase in UV-irradiated cells and prevents the degradation of collagen. (A) Quantitative real-time PCR of UVB-irradiated (20 mJ/cm2) and non-irradiated fibroblasts treated with 10 mMof A8 peptide for 24 h or not. The level of MMP-1 mRNA was normalized against b-actin. The relative amounts of each mRNA divided by the corresponding mRNA level of control cells are plotted. (B) Immunoblottingof UVB-irradiated 20 mJ/cm2) fibroblasts and non-irradiated fibroblasts treated with A8 peptides for 24 h or not. The cell lysates were analyzed using the indicated antibodies. The graphs (mean ±SD) are representative of three independent experiments. **P < 0.01 compared to control (n ¼ 3, Student’s t-test).(BBRC 2020;530:149-154)

Fig. Quantitative real-time PCR were performed on fibroblasts UVB-rradiated(20 mJ/cm2) or non-irradiated, treated with 10 mMof A8 peptide for 24 h or not.
